Cable Build & Design
The cable has a 4 core braided design. It is made of silver plated OFC with TPE insulation. The 2 pins 0.78mm connectors have a silver housing. There is a black and red stripe on the left and right connectors for differentiation purpose. There is strain relief. The chin slider has a circular shape and is silver in colour. The y-splitter has a silver housing. Lastly, the jack is 2.5mm balanced straight. It has a silver housing with carbon fibre design. There is strain relief.
Sound Analysis (Compared to Stock Cable)
Lows
The sub-bass has slightly more quantity and it aids in the overall sub-bass reproduction. Bass decay is quicker and there is extra punch from the rumble. The rumble helps to improve the dynamics. The mid-bass has similar quantity with the slam maintaining its control. Bass texture improves slightly.
Mids
The midrange has less body and its transparency improves slightly. The lower mids has less quantity and the reduction in the body prevents male vocals from being expressed in a thick manner. The upper mids improves with slightly more forwardness. The crisp is maintained. Female vocals become livelier.
Highs
The treble extension maintains at a similar level. The amount of body is being kept and the treble has a brighter presentation. Treble is articulated with similar precision. The amount of air rendered has a slight improvement and the increased quantity helps to give a more open feel at the top end. The sparkle and crisp are maintained.
Soundstage
The soundstage width increases by a little and depth is maintained.
Conclusion
