Sound Analysis

Lows

The Mevi extends it sub-bass decently and it has an ordinary quantity. The sub-bass reproduction is presented in a clean manner. The rumble is natural and it is not the quickest. Bass decay is moderately quick and each bass note is presented well with accuracy. There is a nice definition. The mid-bass has moderate quantity and the slam is portrayed in a reserved manner. The Mevi reproduces its bass well but lacks the punch.

Mids

The midrange has a decent level of transparency but it is presented rather cleanly. The lower mids has decent quantity and it can still tackle male vocals. There is body but it can be improved with more quantity.  The upper mids has a nice forwardness which helps to express female vocals well. There is a good amount of quantity and the crisp is lacking in creating a clear vocals performance. The details retrieval is moderate and the overall midrange takes on a warm approach.

Treble

The treble has a decent extension. There is no sibilance and harshness. It is being presented in an unoffensive manner. The amount of air is not a lot which causes congestion. The treble takes on a slightly bright approach and it is not overly done. It is able to offer good clarity at its price point. There is lack of sparkle. The Mevi showcases its treble well but there is a lack in extension.

Soundstage

The Mevi expands its stage in a natural manner and the width magnitude is average. The depth is quite closed in with little amount of space offered. It tends to get congested when tackling busy tracks.
