The DX150 has a rectangular design and it is gun-metal in color. On the front, there is the touchscreen. At the top of the DX150, there is the USB Type C charging port, SPDIF output and switch on/off button. At the left side, there are micro sd slot. At the right side, there are volume wheel and previous, play/pause, next buttons (there is a dot on the play/pause button). At the bottom of the DX150, there are line out, 3.5mm standard headphone output jack and 2.5mm TRRS balanced headphone output jack. The back of the DX150 is black in color and sports the model name. The iBasso DX150 allows the change of amp modules for different sound signatures.
Functionalities
The DX150 has 10 sections of EQ and 5 kinds of sound effect and can be used as a standalone digital analogue converter (DAC). It supports line out and coaxial outputs. In addition, it utilizes bluetooth 4.1 bi-directional transmission. The DX150 operates on Android.
Would you say the IBasso DX150 (vs the 200 or 220) with Amp8 is suitable “enough” for someone looking to solely stream (mostly offline) and prefers to not have all the bells and whistles? The current price tag is much more attractive to me than the others :).
Thank you so much!
