There is greater liveliness on the OE8. The lower mids on the EM-6 has more body which aids in male vocals to sound thicker. The upper mids on the OE8 has additional forwardness and there is a more intimate female vocals expression. Moving on to the treble section, the OE8 has more extension and there is a greater amount of air rendered. The treble on the EM-6 has extra body and it is expressed in a smoother manner. Treble presentation on the OE8 is energetic with precise articulation. The crisp on the OE8 is more defined and it brings sparkle for extra excitement. For the soundstage, the expansion on both is rather natural and the OE8 has a greater width magnitude. Depth on the EM-6 is more closed in.
