Hi.. Can you recommend something to upgrade from Kinera Idun? I’d be really grateful.

Hi, budget and preferred genres?

Thank your for the response. I’m looking at around 200-250 usd. I really like the idun’s signature, very calculated bass, clear midrange and treble. Something with the same signature would be really great.

Hi there,
I recently realized there was no more stock for the TSMR 3 and now there is a pro version instead? Have you listened to the pro version and if so how does it sound and is there a noticeable difference when compared to the original TSMR 3?
LikeLike
Hi, there is noticeable difference definitely with better bass articulation, clearer midrange and more extended treble. For the soundstage, the TSMR 3 Pro has greater width magnitude. The depth on the TSMR 3 Pro is less closed in. Cheers!

Have you tried comply foam tips with these? Which ones fit best? E.g 200,400,500?
What other tips (and their model type) do you recommend with the Ikko?
LikeLike
Hi, I generally don’t use comply. I like Ikko OH1 with Acoustune AET07 tips!

Thanks for the reply. How’s the isolation of those tips? I love the Ikko OH1 but I commute on the subway train every morning and the isolation with the stock tips isn’t so great…

The AET07 has better isolation than the stock tips for my ears!

Hi, would these be an upgrade to the RHA T20i, or are there even better ones you’d recommend? I love bass but they should perform well in other areas too. Budget is about 100-250, genres: electronic, ambient, hip-hop, psytrance, rock. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I don’t think it is an upgrade to the RHA T20i. Can I say bass & soundstage are the most important aspects for you?

Thanks, I will look into these!

Heya when you mentioned that its not an upgrade from the RHA T20I could you share more about it? I listen to metal and hard rock. I am on the fence on the OH1 and the T20i
LikeLike
In terms of resolution, it is more of a sidegrade than an upgrade. The OH1 is recommended for your music preference as it is smoother sounding than the T20i. Cheers!

In brief, the bass on the OH1 is more nimble while the King Pro has better soundstage.
