The Monroe has good sub-bass quantity and it is extended well. The sub-bass reproduction provides nice rumble. The bass decay is rather quick and it elevates the incisiveness of the expression. The bass texture is rendered smoothly. The mid-bass does not lack in body and the slam is presented with fullness. Each bass note is articulated in an impactful and controlled manner.


The midrange is expressed with good details retrieval. The vocals reproduction is soothing and the transparency level is moderate. The lower midrange has moderate quantity and male vocals are presented in a slightly thin manner. The upper midrange is boosted and female vocals are expressed with intimacy. The emphasis provides a good engagement. The midrange benefits female vocals more than male vocals.


The treble is extended well with no sibilance and harshness. The crisp has moderate definition and there is good clarity. The treble presentation is controlled and the sparkle injects some energy at the top end without overdoing it. The amount of air rendered provides an airy feeling at the top end and it ensures a relaxing listen. There is a good balance and there are no signs of aggression.


The Monroe expands naturally with good width magnitude and the depth is not closed in. There is minimal congestion. Positioning of vocals and instruments is accurate.
