The DX220 has a rectangular design and it is gun-metal in color. On the front, there is the touchscreen. At the top of the DX220, there are USB Type C charging port, SPDIF output and switch on/off button. At the left side, there is a Micro SD slot. At the right side, there are volume wheel and previous, play/pause, next buttons. At the bottom of the DX220, there are line out, 3.5mm standard headphone output jack and 2.5mm TRRS balanced headphone output jack. The back of the DX220 is black in color and sports the brand logo & model name. The iBasso DX220 allows the change of amp modules for different sound signatures.

Functionalities

The DX220 operates on both Android 8.1 and Mango OS. It can be used as a standalone digital analogue converter (DAC). There are 2 types of equalizer- graphic and parametric. For the graphic equalizer, there are 10 sections of EQ with 5 presets (Classic, Pop, Dance, Rock & ACG). For the parametric equalizer, there are 6 settings. Lastly, it supports line out, coaxial output, Bluetooth 5.0 bi-directional transmission, apt-X, LDAC, 2.4G/5G dual band Wi-Fi, QC3.0, PD2.0, MTK PE Plus and MQA.
