A quick impression on the OH10 as compared to the OH1 will be fuller bass expression, clearer midrange and airier treble. Soundstage is significantly bigger.

OH10 or TSMR-3 Pro? Isolation is important to me as well. Can’t wait for the full review!
LikeLike
It depends on the sound you are looking for.
OH10 has better bass definitely due to the dynamic driver while TSMR-3 Pro is more articulate in midrange & treble.
TSMR-3 Pro is an all BA iem with no vents hence better isolation.
Cheers!

Ikko OH10 vs TFZ No. 3 Ti???
LikeLike
For the bass, No.3 Ti is fuller sounding with a weighted rumble while the OH10 has a more agile expression. The midrange of No.3 Ti is thicker sounding than the OH10 with more vocals presence. The treble on the OH10 is crispier with more sparkle than the No.3 Ti. The soundstage of No.3 Ti is bigger. Cheers!

Looking for a sub-$200 IEM that has a deep, rumbling sub-bass, overall warm sound, and not too sibilant highs (as I have pretty sensitive ears). The Ikko OH1 seemed like the top pick, but now with these out, I’m seriously considering them. I saw you noted in another comment above that the OH10 has an airy-er treble. Would you say that that would make the treble a bit harsher than the OH1? And is there a better sounding pair of IEM’s for under $200 that you would recommend for that sound signature?

OH10 has crispier treble than OH1 and I would not classify it as harsh. I have TFZ Secret Garden HD in mind too. Cheers!

In terms of subbass rumble, treble harshness, and soundstage width, how would you compare the TFZ Secret Garden HD and the TFZ No.3 (Non Ti)?
LikeLike
The SG HD has more controlled sub-bass rumble and wider soundstage. The No.3 is smoother in treble. Cheers!

How is the tonality of the OH10? I own and loved the OH1 but always found its tonality to sound a little unnatural. Does the OH10 display the same characteristics? Also, the OH1 was already a bassy IEM. Sounds like the OH10 is even bassier? Do you find any bleeds into the mids?
LikeLike
The OH10 is definitely more bassy than the OH1 and there is a clearer presentation. I don’t find any bleeding into the midrange. Cheers!
