The midrange on the S4 is smoother than the BG with lushness while the BG expresses its midrange with additional presence and clarity. Vocals on the S4 are more laid-back with a soothing feeling. The lower midrange on the S4 has more body than the BG and male vocals are presented in a thicker manner but with reduced presence. The upper midrange on the BG has additional forwardness and this boost elevates the intimacy of female vocals. The extra energy creates a more inviting listen. For the treble section, the BG has the edge in extension. The amount of air rendered is greater on the BG. The sparkle on the BG is more apparent which contributes to the livelier treble expression on the BG. The S4 is smooth with a relaxing and fatigue-free listen. Lastly, in terms of soundstage, the expansion on both is natural. The width magnitude on the S4 is greater and the depth on the BG is less closed in.
