The VX has good sub-bass quantity and there is excellent extension. The sub-bass reproduction is able to provide nice rumble and impact is brought out well. The bass decay is quick and the agility creates a nimble expresison The bass texture is rendered smoothly. The mid-bass has an apt amount of body and the slam is presented well with punch. There is a tight and defined presentation. Each bass note is articulated with precise and clinical hit.


The midrange on the VX has high level of details retrieval and it boasts excellent transparency. Vocals are belted out with clarity and forwardness. The VX has a clean midrange display. The lower midrange has good amount of body and male vocals are expressed with a good balance. The upper midrange has good emphasis and female vocals are forward yet controlled. The VX exhibits a superb and captivating midrange performance.


The treble commands excellent extension and precise articulation. There is a clean and defined presentation with no sibilance and harshness. The amount of air rendered is in abundance. The top end is very open. Furthermore, there is apt sparkle which helps to liven up the treble. The crisp has good definition. The VX excels in the treble.


The VX has a natural soundstage expansion with excellent width magnitude. The depth rendered is great. There is accurate positioning of vocals and instruments.
