Sound Analysis
Lows
The NM2+ has fair sub-bass quantity and it commands good extension. The sub-bass reproduction is able to provide a nice rumble. The bass decay is quick and it contributes to an agile expression. The bass texture is rendered in a smooth manner. The mid-bass has fair body and there is a tight slam. There is a clinical showing. Each bass note is articulated with a defined and precise hit.
Mids
The midrange has high transparency level and there is excellent details retrieval. Vocals are belted out cleanly. The lower midrange has moderate quantity and male vocals are expressed clearly albeit with reduced body. The upper midrange has great emphasis and female vocals are expressed in a lively manner. The NM2+ has an engaging midrange.
Highs
The treble is extended well with no sibilance and harshness. There is precise articulation and the crisp is well-defined. The amount of air rendered is great which contributes to an open top end. There is a fair amount of body. The presentation is bright with a nice amount of sparkle to inject energy at the top end. There is a lively feeling.
Soundstage
The NM2+ has a natural soundstage expansion and there is a holographic presentation. The width is excellent and there is a great amount of depth rendered. There is a spacious feeling.
Thanks. Will audition it.

Thank you for very informative review. In fact I like the sound characteristics of Solaris 2020 & Meze Rai Penta, but both are
out of my budget. What do you think of this NF NM2+, Tanchjim Oxygen, IBasso AM05, TinHifi P1, and Penon ORB? Which one is quite close to Solaris 2020 or Rai Penta?
