Introduction
iBasso is a Chinese brand that is known for their digital audio players (DAPs). Their latest IEM release is the IT00. I would like to thank iBasso for providing the IT00 as a review unit. The IT00 can be purchased from iBasso.

- Driver Configuration: 10mm Dynamic (Multi layered graphene diaphragm incorporated in a unique dual Helmholtz resonators driver)
- Sensitivity: 106dB +/- 2dB
- Impedance: 16Ω
- Frequency Range: 10Hz – 35kHz
Unboxing & Accessories
The IT00 comes in a blue package that has the iBasso logo printed on the front. It has a white protective cover that sports the brand name, image of IT00, model name and the words – “Audiophile In-Ear Monitors”. There are specifications printed at the back of the cover. After opening the blue package, there are the IT00, 3.5mm MMCX detachable high purity OFC cable, tips, replacement nozzle filters, carry case, user guide and warranty card.

I feel it is a slight upgrade due to the clearer midrange and more open sound. Cheers!

Hey man, how do these stack up against other $110 iems. I’m a after a warm sound slightly fun, non-fatiguing and good for extended hours of listening.

Got these too, I have several and had many IEM including TinHifi P1, TinHifi P4, Fiio Fh1s, Blon-03, Bqeyz kc2, Qdz Vk4
And I really like these a lot for me they are so much more exciting to listen too.
These should get a lot more attention. For me the Timbre is great and detail separation/stage is very good too.
Great review it steered me to buy them. And Glad I did. These give you that feeling most of us search. And when you hear them you know it is a good buy. Price/performance is very good.
Perhaps I’m still in honeymoon fase. But I heard enough IEMs to know what good sounds like 😉

I appreciate the way you choose adjectives to hone in on and explain different aspects of sound of the IEM. It’s a system that is different to the usual, but when your style is understood well it gives much more accuracy than other reviews.
You have definitely interested me in this IEM. Seems I am choosing between this iBasso it00 and the Fiio FD1. We’ll see when I get a chance to see a bit more about the FiiO.

Got them in my ears right now. The Fedex man brought them this morning. Spot on. First time I’ve bought on just the basis of one review. Beautifully tuned. Timbre and tone Ten out of Ten. Good fast, substantial bass. Non fatiguing but seem to like and enjoy a bit of volume. Although the tips supplied look good I put large JVC Spiral Dots on, which suit my ears. Cable quite nice. Good recommendation.

How is the soundstage depth on these?
Also, wat do you mean when u say depth is more closed in?
And alas, can these be considered an upgrade over Kanas Pro.

Am in a tight budget the IT 00 are retailing for 80 usd which is definitely expensive for me and .If I buy this I have to use it for atleast two years what do suggest bro? Should I just buy these are anything else in that price range…I have an LG v40 and shanling q1 to pair it with

How does the IT00 compare against Meze Rai Solo? Is it worth spending more on the Meze or IT00 is it a better value?

The IT00 has more sub-bass rumble, slightly less forward upper midrange and less detailed treble than the Solo. The IT00 is 180 USD cheaper than the Solo and presents a better value definitely. Cheers.

I just bought IT00 few days ago and I love it man.. Previously I had TFZ T2G and this indeed beats it in all aspects. Quicker bass, more forward midrange and engaging too overall, greater treble extension and much more airiness. T2G felt muddy tbh and much more congested in complex tracks.
I find changing eartips nor cable isn’t that necessary for this IEM since it could change the sound a bit. I mean it already sounds good.
But yeah based on the look alone, the competitors at the price range provides much more “high-quality” looking cables, such as KBear Diamond, Tin Audio T4 whatsoever. A bit let down but yeah it’s just my opinion.
Good thing that the MMCX connectors feels solid to the point that plugging or unplugging them will cause anxiety to spike.

Hmmm…. Currently I am using a KZ FSX and yesterday I have placed an order for a KBEAR Diamond. Is the IT00 significantly better or just sightly better.

I cancelled the order for the KBEAR und just got the IT00. At a first quick dry I was quite disappointed. After changing the silicone buds to foamys I am happy. Thank you for your recommendation!

Inwas about to purchase starfield till i saw your review. Glad that i saw your review, now im more confused hAha. Is the imaging and soundstage on it00 is phenomenal?how do you compare thr imaging and sounstage to more expensive irms 150$ on so?

I bought the IT00 and I am happy with it. I could use a 2.5mm cable on my Pioneer player. For 99 € I get the corresponding iBasso cable (CB12S ). The cable would be more expensive than the IT00. Or should I get the IT01s which already has the 2,5mm cable, instead ? My standard headphone is a AKG K712 Pro.

I’m gonna buy a new iem, I wanna neutral sound. I’m totally metalhead (thrash, heavy, doom, proto, hard rock) and I’m a bass player sound of the bass guitar is very important to me (not a bass-head I hate hip-hop, techno etc.)
